Very nice upscale restaurant with great service and a fantastic kitchen. The food was delicious. The price is justified but on the higher end. The theme is traditional Finnish food with a bit of a modern twist. I had the overnight baked Elk and the Pie. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Very good and comfortable atmosphere.
I have tried Cœur de filet Provençale 1952 and Crème brûlée, apricot sorbet for the dessert and loved both. Food was decent, and service was great.
The dishes were excellent, exceeded my exceptions and I’d say worth the price tag. Also impressive this restaurant has lasted through one world war let alone two
The glassroom terrace area though was uncomfortably hot, I don’t know if the inside dining area is any better but definitely could use some improvement
Without exageration, this is literally the best restaurant in Helsinki I've tried. Everything was perfect; the atmosphere, the food, the wines, the service. Their Coeur de filet provencial is an absolute must to try! Can't wait to go there again.
A classic Finnish restaurant with good food and ok service. I give only three stars because it needs cleaner areas. The lamp just above my head had some sauce stains and between the window and heater next to the table was possible to see a big amount of dust. The service can improve.
A great place where the service is attentive and food mouth watering. I was only swinging by Helsinki on my way to Australia, so I had a limited amout of time. This was a great experience, thank you!
Professional(!) no-nonsense service. Only one choice for veggies but it was fine. Visiting again after they get more different veggie options. Vegan option available by pre-order only, but vegetarian option is on the menu.
Not sure what to say. This restaurant have survive 2 world wars and the service is excellent.
The food is not really new or exciting, but it have extremely high quality.
Their signature course is coeur de filet Provencal. The same dish have been served there for nearly 70 years.
If you want great service and great food, visit this restaurant. It is worth it.
